About Us

Our Church

The United Methodist Church has been serving the Livingston community since 1834.  Looking to the past, Livingston United Methodist Church has a long, rich history of worship, growing in faith and serving others here and around the world.  Livingston United Methodist Church seeks to fulfill the ongoing mission of “being a center of Christian Nurture, Outreach and Witness.”

At Livingston United Methodist Church we also celebrate the newness of life God offers each of us every day.  “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (II Corinthians 5:17) Being made new in Christ, we celebrate opportunities to Worship, Grow and Serve together.

As a community of faith we celebrate the opportunity to engage in meaningful and authentic worship through the seasons of the Christian year- from the cradle to the cross.  We celebrate a traditional worship service each Sunday morning as well as worship on special days throughout the year.

We celebrate opportunities for all ages to connect and grow through intentional study of God’s life-transforming word.  Christian Education opportunities are available on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings, as well as various small group settings throughout the week.

As Christians loved by God’s amazing love, we celebrate opportunities to share God’s love in real and tangible ways.  Each month we share at least one opportunity to serve locally, nationally or globally.
